2. Draft Survey
Atlas Surveyors conducts Draft Surveys for a diverse clientele, including shippers, receivers, ship owners, Charters and terminals. The primary objective of these Draft surveys is to accurately ascertain the weight of cargo loaded or discharged from a vessel. This achieved through meticulous measurements of the vessel´s displacement both before and after the cargo operations. The difference between the two displacements reveals the exact weight of the cargo involved.
3. Hold Sealing / Un-sealing Survey
ASPL offers Hatch Sealing / Un-sealing Surveys to all holds or as desired and issue certificates in accordance.
4. Hold Condition Survey
Visual Inspection of vessel´s holds, main deck and cargo operation areas are performed to identify any damage present prior to the vessel going on-hire or off-hire. This survey is carried out by our marine experienced surveyors.
5. General / Dry Cargo Survey
The scope of this inspection service covers a wide range of products and the experience of our personnel assures our Client that the quality and quantity of the goods to be shipped are exactly those he expects to receive. Our General Cargo Inspection Service may include:
- Verification of the container to ascertain that’s is clean, dry, free from foreign matters, odorless, in general good mechanical conditions
- Identification of the items by corresponding marked code/serial number
- Item count and quantity verification
- Verification of the packaging, labeling, shipping marks, traceability marks

6. Break Bulk Cargo Survey
Packaged and non-containerized cargo. Loose cement, grains, ores, etc., are termed bulk cargo, whereas cargo shipped as a unit ( bags, bales, barrels, boxes, cartons, drums, pallets, sacks, vehicles, etc. ) is termed break bulk. Our break bulk survey covers the follows:

12. Project Cargo Survey
The aim of this survey is to offer a detailed inspection and survey to ensure safe and proper unloading / loading along with its handling and transportation of any kind of oversized or high value cargo.
The cargo is being checked for any pre-existing damages, further cargo securing and lashing are being thoroughly inspected as well as lifting plans are discussed in detailed and reviewed.
The entire operation is monitored with due diligence and reported accordingly.
